NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oregon claimants with an allowed
claim will be receiving a letter from the Special Deputy Liquidator requesting
confirmation that the claim identified in the Proof of Claim (POC) is still valid and
in the amount allowed. The Nebraska Liquidator, in conjunction with the Director of
the Department of Consumer and Business Services for the State of Oregon, will be
paying a dividend to those Oregon Claimants who benefit from deposits made with the
Department of Consumer and Business Services. These are special dpeosits and are not
part of Amwest's general assets. If you receive this letter and have any questions

Please
respond to the confirmation request immediately. Delaying the return of this
confirmation letter only postpones the distribution to all Oregon
claimants.
