The Notice to All Claimants with a Proof of Claim (POC) form were forwarded to all persons with known claims or reasonably expected to have claims against Amwest Surety Insurance Company.

Please note, the bar date (last day to file a timely Proof of Claim) was June 7, 2002. Amwest will continue to accept any and all claims filed on the prescribed Proof of Claim form, however all POC forms received with a postmark after the bar date (June 7, 2002) will be considered late. To request a POC form, please check “How to Reach Us” on the Home page of this web site for the toll free number and mailing address. Please keep the Liquidator informed of any address changes.

Claims: If a property or casualty insurer is declared insolvent and placed into liquidation, Guaranty Fund protection may be available. You will need to contact your state’s Guaranty Fund Association as well as file a POC with Amwest. Please refer to the Guaranty Fund Association section of this website for contact information pertaining to your states Guaranty Fund.
